Well Town FC's Anglian Combination Division One match away at Wymondham Town was the third encounter for both teams in four weeks with Wells coming out on top in all three matches, although this encounter proved the toughest test as it was away from Beach Road.
Both teams struggled to get a solid grip on the match with some wayward shooting in front of goal.
After 30 minutes Wells broke the deadlock when excellent work by Myhill and his resulting cross found Brewster who slotted home.
Wells should have increased their lead but chances came and went with nothing being finished off.
Early in the second period the hosts had their captain red-carded following a horrendous tackle on Myhill, Wells eventually increased their lead when Brewster added his second after twisting his way into the box
Robb thought he had increased the lead only for the linemen flag to go up, the hosts pulled a goal back giving the visitors a nervy last ten minutes before Brain popped up to kill the contest off with a brilliant flick passed the keeper. Final score: Wymondham Town 1 - Wells Town 3.
Wells Travel to Holt United to play on Saturday at 2pm and Wells Res host Fleggburgh in the Junior Cup, kick-off at 2.30pm
