Fakenham Town enjoyed their first home game of the Premier Division season after they saw off Brantham Athletic 4-0.
The squad has had a significant turnover during the summer with big names leaving the club.
However, the club now has got some fantastic young players eager to play and make their impact alongside players who have had experience in this league to help the team develop as a unit.
From Saturday's game, Jake Watts (2) Finn Whiteley and Jay Myhill were all on the scoresheet for the Ghosts.
Man of the Match chosen by DCM Services went to Cameron Beazer - a player who departed Fakenham last season, but decided he couldn't keep away so he came back. It was a top performance from Beazer.
A spokesman said: "Everyone at the club would like to thank everyone who attended for their support. It started off a bright sunny start but as you all know by the end we all ran for shelter when the heavens opened.
"We return to FA Cup action on Saturday, August 19 against AFC Rushden and Diamonds, the former EFL team from Northamptonshire, at 3pm at Clipbush Park."
