A new "modern and minimal" store has opened in a north Norfolk town.
Lulu Boutique has opened its doors on Norwich Street in Fakenham.
The premises was a mattress store for 25 years before Lucinda Soar, owner of the new shop, moved in.
Miss Soar said she opened the shop because she wanted to fill a gap in Fakenham's commercial offering and to be with her family.
She said: "I think it's something that Fakenham needs and people who have come into the shop over the last week have said so as well.
"The store has a boutique feel and is modern and minimal," she added.
Miss Soar offers women's clothes in the store and aims to be inclusive of all sizes.
The 43-year-old said she wants to offer as much variety as possible and has clothes on sale for those aged from late teens onwards.
"I wanted to have something for the younger generations as well so we have hoodies right through to sparkly dresses.
"I'm also very open to feedback and suggestions so if there is a size I'm missing, customers are welcome to let me know."
In order to get the building fit for purpose, Miss Soar needed to give the premises its own make over.
The inside needed to be renovated in order to facilitate dressing rooms for customers.
Miss Soar said: "I had to start again, and completely gut the place.
Since launching her new company, Ms Soar said business has been doing well, with a few items already sold out.
"It's been a really good week and our opening night was amazing and lots of people have been very supportive."
She also said she will be offering a 10pc discount on selected clothes during a Black Friday sale.
