A theatre group has donated props and costumes to a school.

The King's Lynn Operatic and Dramatic Society (KLODs) donated a selection of props and costumes to Fakenham Academy.

The donation was made to assist with the school's production of Wonderland and the items were handpicked by the school's drama teacher, Mrs Parr,

Mrs Parr said: “The arts within the school are usually the first opportunity for our students to enrich their lives with the culture and joy of live production.

"With the kind actions and donations of KLODs, we will be able to bring the joy of the arts to the next generation and teach them a craft that offers both confidence and life skills."

KLODs' extensive collection of costumes, props, and sets has been built over more than 100 years of production.

Their donation is part of their ongoing philanthropic activities.

The theatre group is currently preparing for their next production, Dracula: The Bloody Truth, set to be performed at King's Lynn Guildhall from October 31 to November 2.
