Fakenham and District Light Opera Society (FADLOS) is set to perform The Little Mermaid in its upcoming production.
The musical is based on Hans Christian Andersen’s well-known fairy tale and the popular animated film by Disney.
The love story is tied together with original music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken.
The story follows Ariel, the youngest daughter of King Triton, who trades her mermaid form with the wicked sea witch Ursula for a chance to be with human Prince Eric.
Directors Ben Francis and Paula Graver, said: "Our talented cast and creative team are working tirelessly to create an unforgettable journey that captures the essence of Ariel's underwater kingdom and her adventurous spirit.
"Get ready to be part of her world like never before.
"As part of the celebrations of 100 years of Walt Disney, The Little Mermaid is more than a show; it's an invitation to believe in magic again."
Packed with characters like Ariel's companions Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and the sassy Sebastian the crab, FADLOS promises to do justice to Part of Your World and other popular songs from the original such as Under the Sea and Kiss the Girl.
The live performances are scheduled from Tuesday, 14 May to Saturday, May 18, at the Fakenham Community Centre in Oak Street.
Tickets will go on sale from 9am on April 1.
They'll be available online at fadlos.org.uk/box-office/ or at Baily Bird and Warren estate agents, 39 Bridge St, Fakenham between 9.30am and 4.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
It is advisable to book in advance to secure tickets to avoid disappointment.
