They have become a spring highlight for people who love the colour yellow.
And now a stunning "daffodil drive" at a bed and breakfast is aiming to draw people to Norfolk again.
The spectacular quarter-of-a-mile of flowers is beginning to bloom again thanks to Vance Taylor, 43, of Fieldview Farm at Colkirk, near Fakenham and his husband David's handiwork.
However, this year's blooming marvellous sight has arrived a little later than usual as the daffodils have taken a bit longer to bloom, according to Vance.
He said: “Due to the wet weather, they seem a lot later. This time last year they were all out, but we are still waiting on half of them to appear for the first time this year.
“They should be fully open for Easter, which will be lovely as we are open for the long weekend and the bookings are coming in thick and fast.
“The flowers bring people from both ends of the country, we have guests coming from Scotland and Cornwall.
“As soon as they start coming out it gives us a new energy, we know spring is on the way, and life is good.”
The flowers were planted 10 years ago by David, as they are his husband's favourite.
He worked to plant 1,500 bulbs as a surprise while his husband was away working.
The flowers also helped their business, as after they reopened following the first lockdown they found themselves booked solid for 12 weeks straight - and it's the same again this year.
“We expect this season to be even better than last, thanks to wonderful reviews and our repeat customers - as well as really good word of mouth, and the addition of our holiday cottage,” Vance added.
Normally appearing in early March, the daffodils light up the drive for around six weeks.
They have also planted 120 lavender bushes to take over for the summer months.
