A Norfolk village green has been spruced up with new planters and park benches, ready for summer barbecues.
Teams from Flagship Group installed the items at the communal area of Weasenham St Peter, near Fakenham.
Joe McNeill, Flagship’s neighbourhood services manager, said it was part of an effort to build bridges with the community following disruption neighbours faced during the installation of air-source heat pumps.
Mr McNeill said: “I have already received some lovely feedback on how excited and happy the tenants are with us.”
Jacqueline Hargreaves, a Weasenham parish councillor, has been getting involved with the planting - putting some lavender, pansies and primroses in the planters.
Mrs Hargreaves said: “It’s great to see.
"In the summer we always have barbecues here - the gazebo goes up and everyone piles in.
“We all look after each other in this community.”
Flagship’s housing association, Victory Homes, owns the majority of the houses around the area, which is off Lamberts Close.
The benches were made from recycled plastic by Suffolk charity Realise Futures.
