Conversations continue over resolving issues around an "eyesore" building in a market town.
North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) has provided an update on 9 Norwich Street in Fakenham, which has been covered in scaffolding since May 2022.
Last year, NNDC said it was aiming to have a clear position on the way forward by the end of 2023, but discussions are still ongoing on how best to solve the issue.
A district council spokesperson said: “The council is in regular dialogue with the owner of the property and is currently considering its options to resolve the issues at this site.
“Further updates will be made available in due course.”
The building used to house the antique shop Upstairs Downstairs. A notice for urgent repairs was issued in 2019.
Former mayor Gilly Foortse had labelled the building a 'carbuncle'.
Councillor Andrew Brown, the NNDC's portfolio holder for planning and enforcement, has said forcing the owners to sell up through a compulsory purchase order could be an option.
