The A149 Wells Road in Burnham Overy Staithe is closed after resurfacing works began today.
The works are expected to last two weeks and the road will be closed Monday to Friday from January 8 until January 19.
Works will be divided into three sections.
The first will be from the 30mph limit sign to the west of the village along Tower Road.
The second is from the junction of West Harbour Way to East Harbour Way.
Finally, from East Harbour Way until the 30mph sign at the east of the village.

Fully signed diversion routes are in place.
The work will cost £200,000 and are being carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
