Empty units in a market town’s shopping centre could soon be filled.
Millers Walk in Fakenham could soon see new businesses coming into its three empty units, including a new tenant for the former M&Co store next to Argos.
This large unit has been empty since the chain went into administration in December last year.
Brown & Co property consultants is looking to let out empty units on behalf of CBGA Robson, the managing agents for Millers Walk.
Henry Cockerton, a partner at Brown & Co, said: “We have a few vacant properties at Millers Walk, but most have interest.
“We hope to announce a new tenant for the M&Co unit shortly and another long-term tenant is starting in one of the smaller units in November.
“We have another vacancy but have short-term occupants in place.
“At Millers Walk, we are always looking for new long-term tenants and anyone who is interested should contact us on 01263 711167.”
This will come as good news for the town, which has seen an array of businesses leave - including three banks closing their doors in 2023.
