Grass on a town playing field which was labelled "tall as a toddler" has now been cut.
Fakenham Town Council faced criticism as it struggled to keep up with keeping grass spaces clean and tidy.
One resident, Tracey Wells, said the grass at Hayes Lane playing field “was nearly as tall as my toddler when we visited earlier”.
A spokesperson for the council said it was working to resolve the issues, and the grass at the playing field had now been cut.
The spokesperson said: “We are aware of issues with the cutting of grass across the estate.
“Unfortunately, our contractors are experiencing issues and have been unable to perform to normal standards in the last few weeks.
"Please bear with us as we are working to ensure the service is resumed swiftly.”
