A main road in a Norfolk village is to close for eight weeks causing disruption to drivers.

The drainage improvement works are set to begin on or soon after Monday, February 20, in The Street in Thusford.

The project, costing £60,000, will see the outdated drainage system replaced in an effort to alleviate drainage problems in the area.

The Street will be closed to all traffic between the junction with Balls Lane and Clark's Lane and diversions will be in place.
