A classic car club has handed over its biggest charity cheque in more than 15 years to a community group in Fakenham.
Fakenham Auto Club has donated £1,505 to First Focus, making it the biggest donation the club has made since its 10th-anniversary fundraiser in 2009.
The cheque was presented to Clarissa Belson, First Focus manager, by the auto club’s chairman Brian Monks.
The amount - raised throughout 2022 - included £513 from the sale of a motor book collection from a founder member, Geoff Coley, who died early last year.
The club thanked Mr Coley's daughters, Helen and Laura, for donating the books.
Mrs Belson said: “It is with donations like this that means First Focus can continue to support an ever-growing amount of people that need our support and assistance, we can't thank the community enough for their continued support.”
