A town council has changed the day and time of its main meetings for "convenience".
Fakenham Town Council (FTC) has announced its full council meetings will change from the third Tuesday of each month to the fourth Wednesday, while the start time is being brought forward to by an hour to 6pm.
The venue is also changing from the Prince of Wales Stand at Fakenham Racecourse to the lounge area of Fakenham Community Centre.
Meetings have predominantly been held at the racecourse since May 2021, barring a couple which took place at the community centre and The Gallows sports centre.
Angela Glynn, mayor and chairman of the council, explained: "The move is convenient to councillors. Renting the centre is cheaper, more central and easier to access for everyone.
"As for the time, it means people don't have to go home from work and come back out."
The changes are due to come into effect for FTC's next full council meeting on Wednesday (November 23) evening.
