It was a disappointing day for the Pedlars who were expected to give their hosts a tough game off the back of a fine win over Godmanchester in midweek but despite quite an even start, 2-0 at half-time became eight by the final whistle.

In added time Watts-Sturrock played the ball out to Xavier Huckle in the left corner. He ignored calls to hold the ball there and found Garner to cross. The ball was headed out for Catchpole to have his shot deflected and Gould's attempts to block with his feet failed and the ball trickled over the line.
